This is a samba school in Olinda. Samba School Old Black, Escola de Samba Preto Velho. The colors of this samba school are green and pink like the famous Mangueira, samba school at Rio de Janeiro.

They practice and often perform in huge square-compounds ("quadras de samba") devoted to practicing and exhibiting samba, an African-Brazilian dance.
