This is the Church of Santa Cecília, built in 1683. Cecilia is the patron saint of musicians because as she was dying she sang to her god. Therefore, in the facade, you can see a lyre.

Behind the trees, you can see a part of the police headquarters in Recife. This building was built in 1924 in place of an ancient hippodrome.
